      Shihan Vinson Holck from Kodenkan of Tucson spoke at the Leads Unlimited meeting Tuesday July 24, 2007. His 20 minute  presentation was informative and interesting. He went  over topics from awareness to personal  protection.

      Each Tuesday morning Leads Unlimited, a business leads group, meets at Mimis cafe on Broadway and Wilmont in east Tucson, Arizona. We eat breakfast and listen to a guest speaker. Affterwards we exchange leads and talk business. Visitors are welcome to join us for breakfast as well. As a guest you can order from Mimis business breakfast menu and sit in our meeting. You can be a guest for three weeks, to decide if you want to become a member. Join us next Tuesday

Women’s Self-Defense Weekend

WHAT: A 2-day course designed to empower and educate women. The focus of this series is to learn and practice methods that may decrease the likelihood of becoming a victim through education as well as the use of physical techniques.

9-11:30 a.m. (5 hrs total)

COST: $49. ($39 for Kodenkan of Tucson & Bag Works Fitness members)

INSTRUCTOR: Vinson Hoick is a 20-year law enforcement veteran and Police Defensive Tactics Training Instructor. He has over 50 years of martial arts experience and holds multiple black belt ranks. He has been a Women’s Self-Defense Instructor for 20 years.

INSTRUCTOR: Frank Solis, Jr. is a 30-year law enforcement veteran and Academy Instructor. He has over 32 years of martial arts experience and holds multiple black belt ranks. He has been a Women’s Self-Defense Instructor for 12 years.

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR: Sue Solis is a black belt instructor with over 12 years martial arts experience. She has been Women’s Self-Defense Instructor for 12 years.

Please wear comfortable clothing! (preferably sweatpants and a t-shirt). Physical activity will be involved.
