McDonald
Dog Park in Northwest Tucson
McDonald Dog Park is located at
4100 N. Harrison Road just north of Tanque
Verde. This off-leash area is found in
McDonald District Park in northeast Tucson,
and offers a designated off-leash area.
Dogs must be on leash when outside the
off-leash area. Enter the main gate to
the Mc Donald Park and park anywhere
along the north end of the parking lot.
The Off Leash dog area is behind the
ball fields under the trees inside the
fence. Mc Donald Dog Park has plenty
of grass, trees and shade. Like
many dog parks, there are two
areas, one for large dogs and
one for small dogs. It's a little
out of the way unless you live
in the northwest part of Tucson,
but it's a great park that dogs
will be sure to enjoy

It shall be unlawful:
1. To allow domestic animals
or pets off leash except in designated
areas
2. To restrain pets on leashes
more than six feet in length
or of insufficient strength to
control animal.
3. To not have current licenses
as required on all pets.
4. To not clean up and properly
dispose of all litter or waste
created by domestic animals and
pets. Owners of seeing eye dogs
are exempt.

City of Tucson Rules
and Regulations
1.
Owners are responsible for
the actions of their dogs.
2. Open only one gate at a time
when entering or leaving facility.
3. Children under the age of
10 must have adult supervision
and cannot be left unattended.
4. Dog owners must stay in the
off-leash area within view of
their dogs and have a leash within
reach at all times.
5. All dogs must wear collars with
a current Pima County license and
must be up-to-date on all vaccinations.
6. All dogs must be leashed outside
the boundaries of the off-leash
area, including to-and-from the
parking area.
7. Aggressive dogs are not permitted
within the off-leash premises.
8. Dogs must be removed from the
off-leash area at the first sign
of aggression.
9. A dog that is in season or ill
is not permitted in the off-leash
area.
10. Dog waste must be cleaned up
immediately by owner.
11. Dogs must be under voice
control – they
should be able to obey owner
voice commands.
12. Puppies under the age of four
months are prohibited from using
off-leash areas.
13. Owners are responsible for
filling any holes their dogs may
dig.
