Construction
on Interstate 10 through the center
of Tucson AZ
The Gem Show
came to Tucson in February 2009 once again
and even with the construction on I-10,
traffic seemed to flow well. We visited
the Gem Show and used the Congress Street
parking lot then took the shuttles to the
various shows like we did last year. The
I-10 construction was annoying but did
not seem to slow things down too much.
We can not wait to see clear streets again
in downtown Tucson however.
Parking at the public
lot (for $7) was not too bad, the shuttles
were not crowded and were all clean and
comfortable. The construction just required
us to wait for more traffic lights than
normal
Bridge
construction downtown also closed the
4th ave underpass.
