Jerry Bobs Breakfast
Review
July, 2007
Jerry Bobs is
a breakfast place (chain) that's
all over Tucson. This one is
on Golf Links near Pantano on
Tucson's south east side. We stopped
in for breakfast and will go back again.
Not a bad place at all

The
banner says "Now open for dinner"

The sign out front get's right
to the point "Let's eat". Inside
the place is open, very clean
and surprisingly large
and quiet.
Years ago this was a chinese
food place and then it was very dark,
and seemed like a
much smaller place

Veggie omelet with hash browns
and pancakes. I didn't
read the menu correctly,
and it turns out the pancakes
cost extra. Most places offer
cakes for toast on a breakfast
like this no charge..
The hash browns are very rectangle
for what that's worth. Well cooked (the
way i like them) I ordered
the omelet cooked well done too
and it almost was. It's tough
to get eggs cooked well
these days so
that's not a negative for the
cooks

Ordered a belgium waffle special
off the back wall. When it came
the waitress offered to take
it back because the cook
said it might be too well done.
It was crunchy, not the way we
like them, so they brought back
a softer one real quick.
We didn't even need to
request this, that's the sign
of a cook that is really
paying attention to our food,
a big plus in our book

We'll go
back again, this is a good place. |
