This is a Denny's, and we all know Denny's Restaurants. They are all over the country and a comfortable place to get good size portions for low prices. The food is typically good and today was no exception. However we received our orders differently than how we ordered them

I ordered a veggie omelet as I didn't want meat. I ordered it well done (I don't like runny eggs) and this is what I got. Perhaps I am picky, but this doesn't look well done to me. I did tell the waitress who was sorry and very nice, in fact she offered me a second omelet cooked longer. Of course I declined and went ahead and ate this one. It was good, no doubt about it, just runnier than I like them. Their veggie mix is grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, green pepper and onion. No complaints there either. They were a bit greasy I guess, but I am OK with that it's not a diet plate. However, I ordered a Veggie Omelet because I didn't want meat..

I found this chunk of bacon in the omelet If you are vegetarian and order this to avoid meat.. be aware of this. i'm sure it wasn't intentional, but there it is

Second meal was a slam bam breakfast or something, lots of bacon, eggs (scrambled) and hashbrowns. There's plenty of it and it's good food, of course we all know that, that's what Denny's is known for.. Big Breakfasts

Side of pancakes, again good and large size, you get two with the slam bam platter I guess

 

Special Note.. the hot sauce is real good. This is a reason we'll give them another try. This hot sauce has some real flavor
