Two Cheese
Enchiladas from
Carl's Jr. (Green Burrito)
Carl
N. Karcher got his start in the food
industry in 1941 by owning several
hot dog stands in Los
Angeles. In
2002, CKE Restaurants, Inc. acquired
Santa Barbara Restaurant Group (the
parent company of the Green
Burrito brand). Now around 200
Carl's Jr. stores are now co-branded
as Green Burrito locations.

Enchiladas

We visited one in east Tucson
on a Saturday afternoon in Sept, 2007

|
The restaurant is tucked in
behind some trees

|
|
There is a 'drive thru window'
which lets you stay in the car
and 'pick up' your order as you
'drive through' The place looks
clean, they were ready for a
lot of drink orders I guess.
They asked if I wanted
ketchup?

|
Here are the menus for the 'drive
up window'

|
|
The food comes in styrofoam,
plastic and paper

|
|
2 enchiladas, rice, beans and
chips

|
|
the rice kind of tasted fake,
I'm sure it's frozen and reheated,
same with the rest really. Inside
the 'enchilada' were green peppers,
cheese, and red colored (peppers?).
Lots of flavor interesting (weird)
texture to eat
