Whataburger
in South Tucson
Review with pictures
We were on the way out
of town headed south and stopped by for
something to drink and a snack. A large
chain restaurant, so we knew what to
expect. This visit was a little below
standard, but nothing to prevent us from
visiting again in the future.

The building and parking lot
were very clean.

|
|
The store is clean but the drive
through was 'tagged' by the local
gang banger

|
|
A few of the signs at the drive
up window. In case the kids didn't
know what toys are available,
this one is right there at eye
level as you drive up.

|
Sodas were a bit sloppy. but
the cups are foam, so they hold
their temperature well, Ices
stays ice longer, and their shape
lets them fit in the truck's
cup holders easily

|
|
The hamburger was nothing to
write home about, but the price
was right

|
|
A large fries, the combo was
'wahtasized' or something to
make the fries and drink larger
|
|
A large Onion Rings.. are onions
that much more expensive than
potatoes? A large onion rings
never seems to fill the container
it comes in. This happens at
other restaurants too, not just
here

I saw the sign, and it worked,
I ordered the 'pumpkin pie' on
a whim. It was not really what
I expected.

|
|
So I took a bite, and that was
enough. I did give the rest to
the dogs. One dog ate it (but
he eats anything) and the other
dog eventually ate it when he
thought the first dog was going
to take it. Neither dog was hurt
in this experiment as far as
I can tell
