Omar's Hi-Way
Chief Restaurant
Restaurant at the
TTT Truck Stop, I-10 and Wilmont
in Tucson, Arizona
This
is a great place to eat if you are hungry.
Easy to find at Wilmont and I-10 Omar's
Hi-Way Chief Restaurant is a great spot
we've been visiting for years.

We'll
go back again, this is a good place.
|
Easy to find, just pull off
the highway and follow the trucks.
The restaurant is on the right
as you walk inside.

|
|
Seat yourself, plenty of seats.
It's a bright, clean place with
lots of waitresses.

|
|
Each table has menus and a
pitcher of ice water waiting
for you. there is also
a phone at each table for making
calls if needed. A few years
back (before cell phones) this
was pretty cool

|
|
Great menus, at the table so
you can right to it. So many
options it will take a lot of
visits to try them all.

|
|
Special that day was chicken
and stuffing with gravy. Also
had fries and cottage cheese

|
|
The enchilada plate. Quite
a bit of food with this one.

|
|
Sides were a salad for the chicken
special and a plate of (warm)
chips and salsa with the enchiladas

|
|
Arizona Gunslinger hot sauce
is featured and for sale on the
counter on the way out. This
is a thick hot sauce, tangy,
a bit sweet and medium hot on
my 1-10 scale of hot

Our deserts. We got them to
go, I ordered the deep dish 'cherry
pie' which comes with cherry
pie in one container and ice
cream in the other. The pie was
in this cardboard thing, I thought
they were home-made.. I learned
something new. The other was
the brownie thing which was in
the bottom of the cup, with chocolate
sauce on top, ice cream and whipped
cream.. next time I'll get the
brownie thing too

We'll
go back again, this is a good place. |
