Lunch at Poco and Moms
This
was my second visit to Poco and Moms.
But it has been more than a year since
I visited last. They have good
food, made fresh and I really liked their
sauce.

We'll
go back again, this is a good place.

Their drive thru is not automated.
You look at the sign then drive
to the window to order. Only
the menus are changing and they
handed me a paper menu to read
and take home.

I didn't see any vegetarian
options on the menu, so I asked
about a veggie burrito. They
made one up for me with no complaints,
just wanted to know what I wanted
on it. Their kitchen is VERY
clean from what I could see through
the window

Their take out / drive up menu
encourages you to call ahead
which I didn't do. However someone
pulled up behind me and I suspect
they had called in ahead of time,
because one of the crew went
out the back door and took their
order, then quickly brought back
their food. No waiting means
no waiting at Poco and Moms..
not too many restaurants are
going to go that extra step and
not make you suffer when someone
(like me) clogs up the works.
Next time I'll call ahead, and
it's nice to know that means
I won't have to wait no matter
what.

My burrito came with fires ont
he side, how many places offer
that? It was a lot to eat, it
all tasted good

|
|
Their combo also comes with
chips and salsa. I ate this later,
and the salsa was great, I really
liked it's smoky flavor. Maybe
from roasted peppers?

A look inside the veggie burrito
from Poco and Moms. I had to
ask for it because it's not on
the menu, but it was worth the
effort. All fresh ingredients
and put together so that each
bite had a little of each ingredient.
Very well done. It also didn't
smash into a wet mess like some
veggie burritos do when made
with too much pico or a flimsy
tortilla
