Lunch at
Poncho Villas Grill
We were visiting Fourth
Avenue near downtown Tucson and we decided
to stop by Ponco Villas Grill just north
of North pool hall and bar and just east
of Magpies Pizza

We'll
go back again, this is a good place.
|
The entrance is not on the corner,
but east about half a block.
At the corner of the restaurant
is a take out window that is
used for special events in the
area

|
|
Inside there are a few empty
seats and we were served right
away, home made chips and a salsa
bar help keep you busy until
you order and the food comes
out

|
|
The menu has lots of the typical
stuff and many interesting items
and specials. In addition there
are boards with daily specials
on the walls. The crew was updating
these as we ate

|
|
I had a chilada (beer and tomato
juice) it was good, not from
a can,. but made at the bar,
and I had half a beer left when
I was finished with it. We didn't
think to take a picture of the
soup when it came, but here are
the empty bowls a few minutes
later

|
|
A Chicken Quesadilla Grande
|
|
|
|
Soft taco platter, one of the
daily specials
|
We'll
go back again, this is a good place.
