December
2007 has been a great month for
weather in Tucson, AZ. Here are
some pictures we took this month around
town
|
Rains early in the month brought
clouds and a rainbow in the sky
over the air museum

Some of the clouds over Tucson
AZ on a rainy afternoon

|
|
Clouds over the red rock desert
in Arizona between Tucson and
Phoenix, The clouds part and
rays of sunlight shine down on
the desert below. The large areas
of light move around the desert
and over the hills as the coulds
move across the sky

A rainbow reaches across the
sky durring a light mist of rain
on a sunny Sunday afternoon at
the Tucson Fairgrounds

|
Dry washes in December are empty

On Dec 15th Tucson had some
fog. We don't get much of this
so we went out to take pics.

|
|
Some pics to show how thick
the fog was, looking across
a parking lot at a Taco Bell
with it's lights on. And another
shot about twice as close to
the Taco Bell but it still isn't
real obvious

|
|
From about a block away and
at the red light. We could hardly
see across the intersection

|
|
As soon as the sun rose the
fog burned off and the rest of
the day was clear but we were
left with some snow on the Catalina
Mountains north of Tucson

|
|
By
later in the day just about all
the snow that could be seen from
town was gone
|
|
Another shot of the morning
fog and a night shot from near
downtown Tucson
